Cookie policy

Cookies are small files your browser stores when you visit a website. They let the site remember your preferences or learn how it is used.

This policy explains which cookies https://vilamotorcenter.com uses and how you can manage them.

At the moment the site uses only technical cookies, which are essential for it to work: remembering the language you chose, keeping your session if you sign in to the customer area and protecting forms against automated abuse. It also stores your cookie choice, which your own browser reads so we don't ask you again, and a few technical markers with no personal data that say whether you have something in your cart or a saved bike, so the server isn't queried when it isn't needed.

Technical cookies do not require consent, because without them the site cannot provide the service you are asking for.

Later on we may add analytics cookies to understand how the site is used and improve it. They will only be switched on if you expressly accept them through the notice shown on your first visit, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Until then no analytics or advertising cookie is set. This section will be completed when analytics is enabled.

The map on the home page and on «how to find us» is served from our own domain: it is our own image, not an embedded Google map. Viewing it contacts no third party, sets no cookie, and sends out neither your IP address nor any detail of your browser.

The «Open in Google Maps» link does lead to Google, but it is a link: it sends nothing until you click it, like any other link to another site.

You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. Bear in mind that if you block technical cookies some parts of the site may stop working properly, such as the language choice or access to your customer area.

This is version 1.0 of the cookie policy, in force since 17 September 2026. We will update it whenever the type of cookies we use changes.
